WHEDco is partnering with Weill Cornell Hospital to provide educational workshops about COVID-19 Vaccines in order to empower families to make informed decisions about their health and wellness. The workshops will be facilitated by Susana Morales, M.D., internal medicine physician and professor of medicine at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell. Regardless of what you may already know or have heard about the vaccine, we encourage providers and parents to attend the workshop where you will learn more from Dr. Morales, who has extensive knowledge in this area. There will be an opportunity for you to ask questions during the zoom.
There will be two separate workshops, one hosted in English and one hosted in Spanish. The English workshop will take place on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 7:00pm. The Spanish workshop will take place on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 7:00pm. Attendees’ names will be entered in a raffle for $100 Gift Card (only attendees with a child enrolled in WHEDco will be eligible to win).

Independientemente de lo que ya sepa o haya oído hablar de la vacuna, animamos a los proveedores y padres a asistir al taller donde aprenderá más del Dr. Morales, quien tiene amplios conocimientos en esta área. Se proveeran dos talleres, uno en ingles y otro en español . El taller de ingles sera el miércoles 10 de marzo de 2021 a las 7:00 pm. El taller en español sera el jueves 11 de marzo a las 7:00 pm. Los asistentes serán incluidos en una rifa de una tarjeta de regalo de 100.00 (solo participantes con un niño en WHEDco serán elegible para participar).
