SUPPORT WHEDco’s COVID-19 RESPONSE

In lieu of our annual Bow Ties for the Bronx happy hour event, please join WHEDco for a live stream trivia competition from the comfort and safety of home. Proceeds will help WHEDco continue to respond to the COVID-19 crisis by providing critical resources – food, distance learning, mental health counseling, small business support, childcare for essential workers, and more – to vulnerable families in the South Bronx, which has been one of the hardest hit neighborhoods in NYC.

TRIVIA

Form a team with friends and set up a video conference, so that you can hang out virtually throughout the night and discuss answers. One team captain per team can submit responses for the group. Feel free to participate on your own or to let us know if you want to join another group, and we’ll connect you!

BEST BOW COMPETITION

In the spirit of tradition, please wear a bow or bow tie (feel free to get creative; make one out of whatever you have in your home!), and share your photos and video conference screen shots to Instagram throughout the night by tagging @WHEDcoSpeaks. A prize will be given to the most creative bow or bow tie! And please use the Donation Sticker on your Instagram Story to encourage friends to support our work leading up to and during the event.
