On Friday, July 13, 2018 WHEDco held its annual Bronx Music @ Melrose on East 161st Street between Melrose & Elton Aves. This FREE outdoor street festival provided fun for the whole family, while connecting community members with local resources and organizations.
The event featured games, arts & crafts, food, an all-day DJ, and live performances by hip hop legend Grandmaster Caz, plena group Kinto Zonó, as well as Uni-G, Caleb and the Culture, the young students of the BMHC’s Rhythm & Percussion class, and others.
Thanks to all of our community partners, sponsors, staff members, volunteers, artists, and attendees for making this event a total success!
SAVE THE DATE! Join us on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 4:00 PM at the Boricua College Outdoor Amphitheater (890 Washington Avenue at Elton Avenue, steps from E 161st Street). More details to come!
